The NSS 12 satellite from the netherland satellite provider SES New Skies provides with its 48 Ku-band and 40 C-band transpondern a 14 kW Communication payload. The satellite was launched on 29 October 2009 and provides service longer then 2024 from the geo stationary orbit positioned on 57° East.

The NSS connects Europe, MENA, Asia and Australia with VSAT (iDirect, Newtec, UHP, Comtech) network, Point-to-point connection and TV Broadcast
